I Can't Believe It's Not ... Bomberman! is of course a tribute to Hudson Soft's classic game. Or rather it's a fairly accurate clone, although without some of the polish of the real thing. Like the original, you have battle mode (where you fight up to five other players or computer opponents) or adventure mode where you battle enemies and advance through levels. The five player mode is nice, although you may want to pick the smallest level size, since even medium seems too large for the battle mode. Also the screen scrolls, but it only scrolls when you get right to the edge of the screen, which makes it impossible to see what's coming up ahead (like enemy bombs!) so while generally the game is well made there are some gameplay snags which will likely hurt the player's enjoyment.
